European Territorial Cooperation

The goal of the European territorial cooperation programs is to promote cooperation between regions and nations, to unify and develop the living environment in the territory of the EU.

This simultaneously helps to invest in a long-term perspective of a more unified and integrated European living space in regard to both internal and external borders. The cross-border cooperation programme of the European Neighbourhood Policy is one of the instruments of EU foreign policy, aimed at fostering neighbourly relations between EU members through acknowledging common values and solving common problems.
