INTERREG IVC ‘Good Practice Fair 2011’

INTERREG IVC ‘Good Practice Fair 2011’

24. november 2011
Krakow, Poola

INTERREG IVC programmi poolt korraldatakse novembri lõpus laiapõhjaline foorum, mille eesmärgiks on jagada infot ja programmi abil kogunenud häid praktikaid laiema avalikkusega. Selle abil viiakse programmi saavutused ka nende huvigruppideni, kes projektides osalenud ei ole.

Interregional cooperation has brought many advantages to those organisations involved in partnerships. Across 122 projects financed by the INTERREG IVC programme, over 1000 good practices have been identified or transferred within cooperation projects. The knowledge gathered in 27 EU countries, Norway and Switzerland is available to all and it is the right time to share:

  • What effective techniques have been used to promote entrepreneurship in order to boost employment?
  • What are the latest developments in waste prevention and management?
  • How do regions deal with the emphasis on innovation and how can innovative ideas be brought to the market?
  • What works on a regional level when tackling climate change?
  • How do regions face the challenges brought about by demographic change?
  • How can improving energy use improve a region’s performance?

Policy-makers and practitioners from all over Europe are welcome for an intensive one-day event to share experiences and encourage uptake of good practices identified or transferred with cooperation projects. We particularly invite public authorities who have not joined an INTERREG IVC partnership to attend this practical, knowledge-sharing day.

Through detailed, practical case studies of what some regions have put into practice, combined with networking possibilities to gather more information on how these practices work, this day will be a one-stop shop for regions who may be financially restricted but know that a good idea is worth gold.

You can also find the latest event programme here.

As there is a limited number of seats, we encourage registration as soon as possible, and at the latest by 11 November 2011. In all cases, registration will be confirmed by the organisers within 3 working days.

If you are unable to attend, or if you feel another person in your organisation would be more suitable to attend, please forward this invitation. To download a PDF version of this invitation, click here

Looking forward to sharing with you in Krakow.
